Minor Hotels Awards Dinner 2019 — Room Three Sixty AUT
Now and then, everything comes together. A beautiful sunset, a fantastic venue and guests that were a delight to photograph and interact with. This was the Minor Hotels Group Annual Awards Dinner 2019 last week, and it was one of my favourite events so far this year.
Minor Hotels is anything but minor, with 250 hotels across Asia and Australia. They are well known overseas for their Anantara brand of hotels, and their head office is based in Bangkok, Thailand.
Room Three Sixty has spectacular views across to Mount Coot-Tha and the setting sun, and then when the sun finally sets you have a wonderful backdrop of Brisbane city lights and the Botanic Gardens.
This is quite a unique event space, and unusually offers full 360 views because of a design decision to place bathrooms on the level below (with lift access). This means the the floor to ceiling windows wrap right around the room, with nothing to obstruct the views.
