St Bernards Hotel is located in Tamborine Mountain, and for this winter wedding they had just opened their new lodge which was made for some breathtaking getting ready photos. The lodge is extremely private, and has some unique features such as the fireplace, central staircase and front lawn overlooking the incredible views.

What makes this venue even more amazing (apart from the endless views!) is that everything is contained at one location. The Garden Chapel is absolutely gorgeous (although this couple opted to marry outdoors).

That turned out to be the right choice, because the outdoor ceremony photos speak for themselves with beautiful, undappled light filtering through the trees in the late afternoon it was the perfect choice.

What I also remember about this venue were the staff and the manager in particular, she was particularly kind and helpful and extremley nice to deal with at all times.

The reception area is very photo friendly with white ceiling allowing flash to be bounced, and is the chapel. Overall this venue is a great choice from a photography perspective to contain everything within one location (complete with abundant on-site parking).
