Brisbane Wedding Venues with COVID maximum guest capacity

Here is a constantly updated list of current Brisbane wedding venues and the actual maximum capacity of guests permitted during Stage 3 restrictions, as provided directly from the venue (where they have contributed or responded to provide).

These Stage 3 restrictions essentially restrict venues smaller than 200 square metres to a maximum of 50 guests with 1 person per 2 square metres.

They also permit venues with spaces greater than 200 square metres to allow 1 person per 4 square metres. Therefore, a 400 square metre venue (guest areas only, not the kitchen etc.) should allow up to 100 guests. A COVID safe plan is also required in these circumstances which most venues should already have in place.

Seating CONFIGURATION

Please also note that the seating configuration within a venue can affect the maximum number of guests. For example, The Greek Club in Brisbane has different capacities for theatre, banquet, cocktail, classroom and u-shape seating configurations. As a general rule, numbers quoted as ‘cocktail’ will be higher than (for example) ‘banquet’ seating.
